We love when a beautiful wedding video crosses our path! So much of why a bride connects with her dress is because of the way it moves on her body. Getting to watch the dress move and dance on the wedding day is such a treat - it’s a peek into the real day that we don’t get with photography.
This video takes place at Mandarin Oriental on Brickell Key and Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, two of our very favorite places in Miami (you may recognize the Mandarin Oriental from our photos over on The Beach Bride!).

Are You Dreaming of a White Winter? (Perhaps in Reem Acra?)
We can’t resist the opportunity to collaborate with our talented bridal comminutu and what better time of year than around the holidays, a time so full of love and gratitude, to work with some new talent?
We’ve seen Christian Arevalo’s photos flooding our feeds for the past few years. It was obvious that our brides love this style, so we thought, why not reach out and some up with a fabulous way to highlight our newest gowns by Reem Acra (we threw in a few Monique Lhuillier’s too because Christian said they’re a favorite of his brides - exhibit A ).
With the help of Elvi of Style Me Elvi and Sara of Rose Coloured Floral, headpieces by Maria Elena Accessories (all of which we have in stock at Chic Parisien) and brand new gowns by the always stylish Reem Acra, we had the perfect team to put this romantic shoot together.
A Chic Miami-Themed Soiree for the Berta Miami Collection
Berta Miami Collection comes to Chic Parisien - and we celebrated with a party in chic Miami style!
We were thrilled to welcome some of the Miami bridal industry’s brightest stars to Chic Parisien for a celebration of the Berta Miami Collection. From stationary artists to photographers, planners and bakers, we toasted with fruity mojitos by Craft Cartel to this chic new collection inspired by our hometown.
Vanity Projects was set up to transform our nails with Berta-inspired nail art - our guests could pick from rhinestone designs pulled from the motif of our favorite gowns from the collection, an art deco print or a palm frond! Everyone left with a bit more sparkle than a basic mani!
Veronica from Anthology transformed the space into a tropical oasis - we loved it so much that we kept it up through the weekend. Brides who had scheduled trunk show appointments to shop the collection were in for a tropical treat when they walked in!
The whole store was glowing under the pink light of our new neon sign! We can’t wait to see all the photos our smiling brides are going to take underneath it.
A very special thank you to Enuel Viera who snapped these photos for us and captured the magic of the evening! It was a night of Cuban food from Versailles (what could be more Miami?!), great conversation, amazing connections and chic tropical tunes!

Ines Di Santo Spring 2018 at Chic Parisien
Ines Di Santo's latest show left us jaw dropped. The Chic Parisien team sat in a concert hall with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Central Park and an orchestra played as an elaborate show of glittery, ornate dresses walked down the runway. You can imagine how excited we were when these dresses first visited Chic Parisien - and now they're back! And, the real icing on the cake, Ines Di Santo is coming with them.
We've decided to start the Ines Di Santo trunk show a bit early and extend this chic event through two weeks, culminating in a visit to the boutique by the legendary bridal designer herself.

Chic Favorites From Ines Di Santo's Latest Collection
The most recent Ines Di Santo collection featured a chic selection of silhouettes, details, and fabrics - but for us, it was the return of the classic ball gown that had us swooning.
We can't help but picture our future #realchicbrides in each and every new dress that she sent down the runway at Jazz at Lincoln Center, with a live orchestra scoring the background and the dramatic backdrop of New York City's Central Park peeking through the floor to ceiling windows. But it's when we get up close and personal with the dresses the next day at our appointment with the Ines Di Santo team that we really get to see the detail and chic craftsmanship that goes into each look.

Stefania Fernandez, Miss Universe 2009, was married in Cartagena, Colombia wearing Ines Di Santo. The Venezuelan beauty married Bernardo Asuaje in a dress by a Venezuelan designer and then changed into this gown that she found at Chic Parisien.

More Dresses, In More Sizes
We've been listening to our bride's feedback and have started ordering sample gowns in more sizes. We now carry a new collection of dresses, from a variety of designers, in more sizes.
Let us take a step back and explain; at Chic Parisien, as is the industry standard at high-end bridal boutiques, you find your dream dress using our in-store samples. Then, we take your measurements and place your order with our chic designers. Our designers create your custom gown, made-to-measure so that it fits you perfectly, but samples, traditionally, come in similar sizes to how the gowns are shown on the designer runway.
While offering sample sizing allows some brides to try on gowns in the boutique, others use the gowns as an example of fabric, look and feel and then place a bespoke order. Now at Chic Parisien, more brides can experience the fit of their gown before placing an order for their custom gown. We know that our beautiful brides come in all shapes and sizes and we want every bride's experience to be as special as possible.
