Everything's Coming Up Roses: Liancarlo To Preview Spring 2014 Collection

At Chic Parisien, we’re incredibly lucky to call some of the top bridal designers in the world our friends, and even luckier that they come to visit us in-store as often as they do! Right off the heels of an amazing Trunk Show with Lazaro and Maria Elena Headpieces, which took place last week, we’re excited to welcome back the amazing Carlos Ramirez of Liancarlo.

Famous for combining “feminine silhouettes with the use of luxurious fabrics, sumptuous textures and exquisite hand-work detail,” Liancarlo will preview its Spring 2014 Collection during a special Trunk Show this Friday and Saturday at our store.

As an added bonus, Carlos Ramirez himself will be on hand to chat with our blushing brides, as well as give them styling tips for their big day. Come join us!

Idyllic Wedding On the Island of Enchantment

You won’t want to miss another Chic Parisien Trunk Show once you hear about this month’s Real Chic Bride, Gabriella, who found her dream gown during one of our Monique Lhuillier Trunk Shows. While she had previously eyed the gown while searching online soon after she got engaged, she knew it was “the one” when she finally tried it on in person. “My dress was the first one I tried on at the Trunk Show,” says Gabriella. “I tried on a few more gowns that day but none of them felt like the first. I was absolutely convinced that was my dress.”

The wedding of Francisco and Gabriella took place at the Parroquia San Pedro Mártir in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, followed by a reception at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in San Juan. Dressed in hundreds of flowers, soft glowing candles and floating votives encased in glass, the reception venue struck the perfect balance between modern and classic. The décor, which followed a black and white color scheme, gave off a dramatic yet elegant feel. “Even my bridesmaids wore black and white dresses!” says Gabriella.

Bride’s Favorite Moment: “Believe it or not, my favorite part is that it didn’t stop raining all day. I was stressed about the weather at first but it actually ended up making everything feel so intimate and romantic. Francisco and I enjoyed every minute of our wedding.”
