It’s official, spring has officially started, and that dear friends, puts us in the best mood. Yes, we know what you’re thinking… “You’re in South Florida, do you even have such a thing as Spring?!?!?” True... We get it. Our fluctuation in weather is so slight, we don't deserve to refer to seasons as stations. Yet, spring for us means longer days, it means going into the water when we visit the beach, and most important, spring means new love!
Spring is an extremely popular time to get engaged, and an even more popular time of year to get married! Definitely, spring weddings can be the most intimate and romantic of affairs, or the most extravagant and lavish ones too. However, no matter what the bride-to-be chooses, what’s definitely true of spring weddings, is that they are the freshest and fairest of them all.

We are over the moon with this weekend’s Monique Lhuillier Bridal trunk show. This has to be one of our favorite trunk shows of ALL time… The gowns are absolutely GORGEOUS! If you’re a bride-to-be looking for classic lines, a figure-flattering silhouette, amazing construction and of course, some kind of awe-inspiring, interesting details, this is definitely the collection for you. This is really an extraordinary opportunity, to top it off we will have the incomparable Lori Weil, VP of Monique Lhuillier Bridal March 21, 22 & 23 in store helping brides choose their gown. We came across this African proverb this weekend and it literally, stopped us on our tracks and made us take a moment! It’s such a deep and powerful philosophy. If you think about it, it applies to so many aspects of life: from career & work, to friendships and obviously, marriage! Definitely, when in a partnership, especially in a marriage partnership, this philosophy really rings true. Sticking together, bringing out the best in each other and ultimately, as a unit, taking all of life’s ups and down together are key in making it last… Really last. Happy Friday & Would You Dare?
Yay Friday! Every once in a while we like to shake things up and get out of our comfort zone. So we’ve designated this weekend as an offbeat weekend and we’re going to do something a bit off the beaten path. We’ve been throwing around ideas – maybe canoeing? Maybe going to a new restaurant and having our waiter order for us? Maybe facing our biggest fear and skydiving? Not sure what we’ll do (probably not skydiving, ha!) but it'll hopefully, turn out to be a fun, shake things up kind of weekend!

Inspiration Monday!
How was your weekend? We had a lovely weekend! We hosted the Maria Elena Trunk Show, which was fantastic! The bridal accessories collection is just gorgeous! We also went to the Miami International Film Festival and to Fairchild Tropical Garden for the orchid festival! Both were amazing! And all the activities led us to our favorite type of weekend! It was one of those weekends where we were able to interact with many creative and passionate folks. The type of people that truly inspire and bring out the best in us!

Happy Monday! We’ve had such a busy yet fantastic weekend! We had an amazing multi-designer trunk show that was all around gorgeous! We also worked with Randy Fenoli for his show, Randy to the Rescue… It was a blast!

Fashion's Big Night Out!
Did you watch the Academy Awards last night? A-Ma-Zing! It’s an event full of glamor and glitz… Tinseltown at its best! We have to admit the ceremony was a bit slow, but truth be told, it's the fashions what keeps us up every year… Ahhhh, the fashions! The Oscar red carpet is the MOTHER SHIP! All the A-Listers dressed in the most gorgeous gowns of the year is just insanely awesome to watch!
Needless to say, the red carpet is a great source for bridal wear inspiration. Many celebrity favorite designers such as Monique Lhuillier, Marchesa, Romona Keveza, Naeem Khan, Elie Saab, Badgley Mischka have amazing bridal gowns that are counterparts to the red carpet fashions we have seen throughout awards season.

When planning a wedding, beautiful, pretty and gorgeous are definitely adjectives brides want to hear… Not only when describing how they look, which we believe ALL brides look gorgeous on their wedding day, but how the wedding looks! Happy Fashion Friday!
Happy Friday! Happy Fashion Friday! We just came back from Fashion Week, and as you can imagine, it was an amazing experience! We’ve been to NYC Fashion Week a number of times, but truly, it never gets old! There was so much inspiration and creativity… And of course, beautiful fashion!
Our heart skipped a beat when we witnessed Monique Lhuillier’s collection sashay down the runway! Her jewel tones and use of this year’s official color, emerald green, was truly breathtaking! And her RED jeweled gown: A-Ma-Zing!
Jenny Packham’s collection was also gorgeous! It was decadent, intricate and the details are just impeccable! Definitely, a collection fit for any princess! Finally, Carmen Marc Valvo, was another favorite! The collection was simply stunning... The fit of the dresses, the details of the fabrics - OMG!
