Felini Inpsired Wedding in Venice, Italy
Boy do we have a treat today… A Real Chic Bride with a destination wedding in the one and only Venice, Italy! Rosemary Gonzalez and Oscar Carrera fell in love with Venice on their first vacation together and they wanted to re-live that experience and share it with their loved ones. It was a magical affair with their most intimate family and friends. The bride wore a gorgeous Junko Yoshioka and a beautiful Maria Elena headpiece and veil! She was stunning, the Venice backdrop was gorgeous and the wedding couldn’t have been more beautiful. Below is how Rosemary experienced it! In a few words, what is your style? I'm very simple, and I wanted to keep it that way for the wedding too. I wanted a vintage feel that would work well with the backdrop of Venice.
What was the mood/experience you wanted to achieve? We wanted to have our guests feel as though they were in a Fellini film- a magical experience.
Why did you choose the dress you chose? Actually my mom picked out the dress- she always seems to know my style better than I do! As soon as I put it on I knew it was the one.
What was your favorite part of your experience? It was stress and worry free, which is what we wanted. We were able to enjoy every last second of it hanks to our wedding planner Anna Bozza! We definitely could not have done this without her.
If you could change anything what would it be? Only that we could stay in Venice longer!

Randy to the Rescue and Chic Parisien Get Together!
Back in early March we had an amazing experience when Randy Fenoli came to Miami and we collaborated on his show Randy to the Rescue! It was so much fun… We worked with the loveliest brides-to-be and Randy and his team were a blast! Tonight the episode airs at 10PM on TLC and we can’t wait! Tune in, check it out and then tell us how we did… We have to admit we’re a bit nervous about seeing ourselves on TV, but on the other hand we can’t wait! Loveliest of Afternoons: Jenny Packham, Tea and Great Company!
This past Friday we had the loveliest of afternoons... We hosted a tea party for our friends of the Merrick House committee featuring the spectacular Jenny Packham Bridal collection! This event was actually a warm up to the series “Sundays on the Porch with George” in which we will be participating in February. The series is a group of events throughout the fall and spring, that have themes, history, art, gardening and poetry. The purpose is to bring the community together and give awareness to the Merrick House Museum, gardens and its history.
We’re thrilled we were asked to participate in an event celebrating the marriage of George and Eunice Merrick, founders of Coral Gables. We will be showcasing Jenny Packham’s 2014 bridal collection at the event, as well as enjoy tea, tea sandwiches, a wedding cake contest and a string quartet playing waltzes in the afternoon. Stay tuned for more details as we get closer to the date! But truly, our "warm up" this past Friday was a treat! The lovely ladies of the committee were such great company! We also had the pleasure of having Amelia Gibson, executive director for Jenny Packham - North and South America, join us and tell us all about Jenny's collection.
